Is it possible that certain people have it in their DNA to flourish (thrive under pressure) in high-stress careers? To those who are not of the same make up, they could appear to be workaholics but, to the person of this DNA, it would be their norm.
I think there are definitely people who thrive under pressure. There are also people who melt down during pressure. However, I am not sure if this product of differences in DNA or the way a person is raised. The nature vs. nurture topic is always a fun one:)

ReplyDeleteThere are those people who, whatever they do, it comes easy to them. I always seem to make the easiest task difficult in some way.
ReplyDeleteGreat question. I wonder if there is research out there about this. I am sure there is some correlation.
ReplyDeleteI definitely feel like where work is concerned I thrive under pressure. My home life not so much. I wonder why that is...
